Alleged Abortion Clinic Bombing Plotter To Be Arraigned
GREENBELT, Md. -- A man from Prince George's County, Md., is due to be arraigned in federal court for allegedly plotting to blow up an abortion clinic. According to court documents, 25-year-old Robert Weiler called federal authorities June 8 from a western Maryland rest stop to confess to the alleged plan. Weiler allegedly admitted he built a pipe bomb, stole a handgun from a friend and planned to attack an abortion clinic in Greenbelt, Md. The pipe bomb Weiler allegedly made exploded at the home of one of Weiler's friends in Riverdale, Md., as a bomb technician tried to defuse it. .
